Upcoming Training 2026

Hello my friends,

I look forward with great excitement and anticipation to the upcoming VMC 6-Day Basic Training and overlapping 10-Day Mentor Training at our beloved Wiston Lodge in Scotland this fall.

 

Not just because this Californian gets to experience the beauty of a real autumn season, but because I will have the privilege of sitting in the back of the room watching Dr. Jane Bentley and Ray Waters host and teach their first full 6-Day VMC program, while also supporting Jim Boneau as he facilitates the Mentor Training.

 

I will be sitting proudly in the back of the room watching my two protégés become the first graduates moving into the role of VMC 6-Day Global Trainers.

 

Once or twice a day, I am sure they will untie me from my chair, remove the tape from my mouth, and allow me to pontificate on a few "Arthurianisms."

 

This program marks the beginning of my transformation from the Arthurian Overlord of Village Music Circles into the more appropriate role of Head Elf Emeritus. It also marks the transformation of several special VMC Global Trainers from "Elders in Training" into simply “ Respected Elders."

 

For the longest period of Time the UK is the country I have taught in and visited more than any other outside the United States. Dr. Jane and Ray have been major supporters VMC and its community throughout much of that journey.

 

I am proud and privileged to be part of this next step in the evolution of Village Music Circles.
