The Venue is an isolated mansion in the Scottish hills with big log fires and lots of nooks and crannies to explore.

In 2009 the Arthur Jim and the mentors mainly inhabited three cosy cabins with 3 to a room. Everyone else was in the main house sharing single sex dormitory styles room sleeping between 4 and 8

 Late night drumming was breaking out in a variety of places. Around occasional outside fires, in the dining room and in one of the two main group rooms.

What is the food like?

"At Wiston Lodge, we pride ourselves on providing delicious, homemade food that delights all our guests. Our cooks are well versed in preparing meals for groups or individuals with special dietary requirements - from sausages and chips through to a full vegan banquet, provided notice is given to order special foodstuffs".

On registering you will be asked to list any special dietary requirements.

In 2009 the food was conistently fabulous.
